“You have to plan the shot before you shoot it,” my friend said. “It’s better that way.”

Upon hearing his words, I had an epiphany. Like a flashing light bulb over my head, I am enlightened. Now it all makes sense to me. Everything is all about the right timing — sometimes, you feel the right feelings but it’s a complicated time frame, so you end up not acting upon that sudden impulse in your heart. Mind over matter. Head over heart.

Try to get that one shot, instead of shooting a million photos - then spending hours sorting them out. In simpler terms, stick to one — and make it a perfect shot. Waiting is involved in order to get the results that you want, but in the end it will be all worth it.

Do I make sense?
