The semester just ended and I’m on another adventure yet again. I just registered for summer courses at UMB before I fly out to California (CSUN) for more studying. My co-workers are calling me an ‘overachiever’ haha, but I do take that as a compliment. I want to be ready when I go out in the real world.

There are times when life becomes confusing. I find myself just sitting and pondering what I really want to do in life, I feel that English & Communications are too broad; which can be good, actually — because that way, I can go in any direction. That’s my problem though — direction. I need some technical skills and some airtime practice. If I really want to be a TV reporter then I NEED to do just that. Sometimes, I wish that I went straight to California after high school. However, I’m grateful that I did not… because if I went there first, then I wouldn’t meet the friends that I met at Regis and UMass, or even get a job at a TV station at such a tender age. I can still say that, all things work for good.

I was looking at Cal State University’s curriculum for TV and Broadcasting. They are offering it as a major, but not as a concentration. I have contacted the chairman for that department and she told me that they only have Electronic Media — well, now I’m thinking that I should just do a second Bachelor’s. It would only take me one whole year because I can transfer some credits in. I’m very confused right now. But, all I know is I do want to further my education.
